Kryta is one of GmaFog’s favorite places to adventure. Even though the region is full of human inhabitants, you will see the other races in one place or another. She loves the multiple landscapes you can find including lakes, swamps, rocky mountains, caves, and the plateaus of grass overlooking the valleys. The towns are made of rock and stucco buildings, whereas the camps have lots of tents and lean-tos. Some of the camps are nestled among trees and others are in dry rocky areas or terraced up the mountainside.
Ascalon is the home of the Charr, having 4 different legions called Iron, Ash, Blood and Flame that are spread over the zones. With the exception of the humans in Ebonhawke, most of the landscape is occupied by the Charr legions. They have a variety of terrain including snow, crystalline, volcanic, and dry, grassy landscapes. The main structures in the camps are made of metal and stone. It is an adventure to go through these zones because you never know what you are going to run into around the next rock.
As a retired archaeologist and anthropologist in real life, I have learned to love folklore, history and any family story I can lay my hands on. In game, storylines are very interesting but not enough history for my taste, so I went on a quest in Guild Wars 2. I wanted to find where to read about history and folklore in the game. In the beginning, I only knew of a few I had come across while map clearing in certain areas. With the help of a few friends, I found some hidden libraries and some other areas new to me. The good ones also have achievements to go along with your reading, which makes them even more fun! Here are my top ten places to read, but realize, there are many more little places to find a book. You just have to go on an adventure to find them.
When a mount for World vs. World (WvW) was first announced for Guild Wars 2, people went crazy with plenty of good and bad conjecture. I even got to read some of it in team chat as the debate continued on day one of the release, March 5th. I’m sorry for all you non WvWers I helped decimate on the field while getting my mount. It’s rather easy to tell what groups are running organized and which are not. I did love finding some truly organized groups in the mix because despite the insanity caused by this mount, I had some of my best and worst fights.
From the makers of World of Tanks and World of Planes, Wargaming.net has decided to take to the seas with World of Warships. I have studied naval combat of both World War 1 and World War 2, and have also toured various Naval vessels. I am a Navy Nerd so this game really appeals to me. The ships you command are from the World War 1 to World War 2 eras and include Destroyers, Cruisers, Battleships, and Aircraft Carriers. As a lover of naval combat and Navy ships, I was ready to take to seas. In this guide we will go over the basics and getting started in World of Warships.
I’m truly enjoying this game in some of my spare time. It has a huge learning curve to overcome compared to what I’ve played for the past decade. However, the good news is that anyone that has played Fallout 4 will find the curve smaller due to the similarities.
By this time you should have Open Skies: Domain of Vabbi, Crystal Oasis, and Desert Highlands completed. We are now at the last two zones to egg hunt, do our assignments and then the final couple of tasks to go! In this Guide, I will take you through two zones: Elon Riverlands and The Desolation. After that we will have Open Skies: Sunspear Sanctuary, Sunspear Wisdom and On Wings and a Prayer.
Pirate101 started out to be a game I chose for my playtime with the grandkids and with some adult friends. At that time, the game looked like it was made for children, I would say age 4 and up, and my Grandsons started playing around the time they were 3. I find this game teaches children the idea of working for your “gold” and putting the fun into doing chores, like building up your nautical xp, training your companions and training your pets.
Asgard is burning. Midgard is shattered. You have come to this world weak and exposed, but so have the many great warriors before you. Attain the knowledge you need to persevere at your most vulnerable in Rend by Frostkeep Studios.
Well, off for another run at obtaining my Griffon! I earned a bit more gold and rested up. Crystal Oasis has a few tough spots to fly to, but I’m sure I can do it with a little help from my friends. The eggs I am going after here are: The Warmed, Browned, Lustrous, Dusty and Ridged Coastal Griffon Eggs in that order.
