The five years that I have been part of Gaiscioch have taught me so much about becoming a better person. The values that one learns while part of the community are ones that transcend games as they teach you to become a better person.
It's rare that you stumble upon a man so genuinely kind that it radiates off of him and makes others kind. Wally "Pops" Anderson was that kind of man. In the time I've known him he has always put others first.
It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of Paolo "Findan" Aceto, a well known and loved event leader in Guild Wars 2. He lead more than 240 events over the course of his 4 year Gaiscioch membership conquering more than 4,500 objectives. His dedication and leadership were major factors in becoming one of the first to obtain the Laoch rank in the Gaiscioch Community.

Looking back at the long road we've traveled as Gaiscioch, few games really have that sentimental attachment like Guild Wars 2. Our journey to Guild Wars 2 began in 2009 when I first picked up a gaming magazine at an airport and read about Guild Wars 2 for the first time. At the time we were heavy into Warhammer Online and having a fantastic time leading large scale siege warfare.
When Gma Fog was young, she lived life at a fast pace and could keep up with herself. Good reflexes and sports were her thing. Now at 62 years old, she thinks, “ Where has the time gone?” In the beginning of life, things change slowly and then all of a sudden, it’s gone. In real life, her mind as well as body see and feel things differently.
I’ve been a gamer one way or another since I was a teenager. Now I’m still at it as a grandmother and disabled with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). I have a lot of the issues that Gma writes about in her Grammy Gamer article this issue, but compounded by MS.

I really don't know when I first heard it, probably in 2000 sometime. It was the name of a movie I never saw, "Pay it Forward". I heard the term and thought, pay for what, how much did they pay, and for how long?
